St. Charles History

Hello everyone,
I am just starting this chat for us to discuss various things about the history of St. Charles. Things that I know we need answers to include:
1. When was the county officially established?
2. What were the boundaries when we were established?
3. How have our boundaries changed (and the dates of those changes)-- I know that Bill said he has this information, so we can ask for that information from him and then just look to confirm his research.


I'm sure there is much more that we will need to know-- and I am by NO means a history person! I've just gathered this from conversations I have had from Bill and Hayden.

If you are interested in researching any of these topics, or if you already know the answers and have the sources to verify then please feel free to share in this chat. Also, if there is anything that you think we should add to this list then just post here too.
